How will this questionnaire help me?

Endologicsᵀᴹ offers a unique service by providing endometriosis advice online. The aim is to facilitate an earlier diagnosis, thus helping you achieve better health outcomes and a better quality of life.

The Endologicsᵀᴹ questionnaire was created by an experienced and well respected gynaecologist, Dr. Graham Tronc, whose intention is to minimise what is often years of discomfort for patients before a diagnosis or appropriate treatment plan. The length of time taken to diagnose endometriosis is on average, 7-10 years! By this stage, the disease is often extremely advanced.

By offering direct specialist advice upon completion of this questionnaire, we endeavour to get answers to your problems sooner – be it a diagnosis of endometriosis or another medical condition, with suggested next steps.

Who should fill in this questionnaire?

You should consider filling in this questionnaire if you have experienced:

  • Multiple diagnoses without any real answers

  • Painful periods (dysmenorrhea). Pelvic pain and cramping may begin before and extend several days into a menstrual period. You may also experience lower back and abdominal pain.

  • Pain with intercourse. Pain during or after sex is common with endometriosis, but is not normal.

  • Pain with bowel movements or when passing urine. You're most likely to experience these symptoms during a menstrual period.

  • Excessive bleeding. You may experience occasional heavy menstrual periods or bleeding between periods (intermenstrual bleeding).

  • Infertility. Sometimes, endometriosis is first diagnosed in those seeking treatment for infertility.

  • Other signs and symptoms. You may experience fatigue, diarrhea, constipation, bloating or nausea, especially during menstrual periods.

Most questions have multiple choices and it should take less than 30 minutes to complete

What happens next?

Our experienced specialist gynaecologist will personally review your questionnaire responses and determine the likely diagnosis, as well as the differential diagnosis (other possible medical conditions that could be causing your symptoms).

He will then formulate and suggest the next steps you should take based on your unique responses and provide this to you in writing.

Meet Dr Graham

Dr Graham Tronc is an experienced gynaecologist with a special interest in endometriosis, adenomyosis and fertility. For over 35 years, Dr Tronc has listened to, and supported thousands of women and girls helping them to obtain a diagnosis of endometriosis and/or adenomyosis. It is through this work that he has learnt the importance of the early diagnosis and an ongoing management plan for both diseases

What do we do with this information?

Based on the specialist’s review, you will receive a written provisional diagnosis and the suggested best course of action. You will also receive a letter addressed to your GP detailing the provisional diagnosis and possible differential diagnosis with suggested next steps. This will include a proposal that your GP refers you to a gynaecologist with experience and knowledge in endometriosis if necessary (a list of suggested names, where possible, will be provided to you and your GP).

The purpose of this GP letter is to try to break the cycle of uncertainty and lack of formal diagnosis for the symptoms you suffer from.

Yes, You Can Test Yourself For Endometriosis

Take our online endo questionnaire designed by a career gynaecologist for reliable medical direction.

Endometriosis affects around 10 per cent of women in Australia.

The condition is often left undiagnosed and will frequently create further medical complications and increased pain when left untreated.

Seek professional advice

EndologicsTM is a specialised gynaecology practice that offers online endo screenings to help you understand your symptoms and start treatment to alleviate your discomfort and possible anxiety. However, if you experience any discomfort and are concerned because you’re unsure what the issue is, seek professional advice.

How Do You Know If You Have Endometriosis?

Endometriosis symptoms can often be hard to diagnose because of how subtle they can be during the early phases. Many women and girls experience discomfort during menstruation and having period pain are widely accepted as a normal part of life.

If you experience any of the following symptoms during your cycle, you should seek medical advice:

●       Chronic pelvic pain

●       Excessive bleeding

●       Irregular periods and spotting between cycles

●       Painful bowel movements or urination

●       Pain during intercourse

If you are unsure whether you have endometriosis, you should speak to your doctor for professional advice. We understand that visiting a doctor in person is not always convenient in the hurry of our modern lifestyle.

EndologicsTM offers you the opportunity to connect with our gynaecology team online through a comprehensive medical questionnaire.

Know whether you’re struggling with undiagnosed endometriosis and what to do about it.

How Our Online Endometriosis Test Works

It may take years to successfully diagnose endo. Our online questionnaire aims to speed up that process by giving you the chance to discuss your symptoms with an understanding, caring professional from the comfort and privacy of your home.

The comprehensive questions aim to gather as much relevant information about you as possible to help Dr Tronc make an accurate diagnosis based on your reproductive health and history. Completing the questionnaire should take you around thirty minutes.

Once you have submitted your answers online, you will be charged a small administration fee of $150, including GST. This fee covers the costs of providing this unique and reliable healthcare service to our patients. Dr Tronc will carefully review your responses and provide a provisional diagnosis and differential diagnosis where applicable. You will receive your results in writing. We collect and process your personal information through a secure portal to ensure your privacy at all times.
